dgskydive 0 #51 August 25, 2010 QuoteThat's exactly what a very large number of people are saying. I was talking about here in NYC. You would have to ask someone in those other places what their motive is for that. I wonder if it has something to do with things like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8GWwgjZhnMDom
dgskydive 0 #52 August 25, 2010 QuoteOK. So I asked you this before. If you moved into a neighborhood, and your town didn't like the color of your skin - would you move somewhere else to be sensitive to their feelings? (We'll assume your immediate neighbors are fine with it, but the town doesn't like "your kind" because of a bad experience people there once had.) I didnt see where you asked me this before. I would have answered. No, if someone asked me to move because of the color of my skin. I would not. This is not about race Bill, it is about religion and if you really think about it. HUMAN RIGHTS. Islam likes to strip that, from even believers. Just ask a female Muslim. Oh wait... you cant. They will stone her to death.Dom

Find the nearest female muslim to where you live, ask her to tell you about her religion and see if she gets stoned to death. I'll bet you a jump ticket that she'll be ok.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
dgskydive 0 #55 August 25, 2010 Your right. There are a some that can get away with it. But not all. More importantly, not all in the U.S. There is a .99 store around the corner from my Apt. run by a Muslim. He seems nice enough. His wife runs the cash register. Try to say anything to her other then "how much is this". He tells her to go in the back and then demands you leave the store. Im not talking about flirting with her. Just simple small talk while she is ringing your purchase up.Dom
dgskydive 0 #56 August 25, 2010 QuoteSo we're going to stoop to their extremist followers approach to treating people? When did I ever say stoop to the same level as the extremists? If I meant that...i would kill you for questioning me. Or at least give you 100 lashes.Dom
normiss 891 #57 August 25, 2010 Well you clearly give an almost militant distrust and fear of all religions except your own and have admitted that in some of the hatred threads here. Sorry if I misunderstood that.
dgskydive 0 #58 August 25, 2010 You must have missed the part where I said. I think ALL religion is corrupt. WE just happen to be talking about Islam. I dont need a book of stories to tell me what is right and wrong. I dont need a book of stories that people twist to fit into what they believe it should say.Dom
normiss 891 #59 August 25, 2010 Hence me stating "all religions" in my response. You're saying the same thing the Islamic extremists are saying. "No religion but mine!"
dgskydive 0 #60 August 25, 2010 No you said QuoteWell you clearly give an almost militant distrust and fear of all religions except your own I dont have a religion. I dont fear any religion. I think they are all full of shit. I wanna say... Wake up people, you dont need religion. you just need to be good to each other. Religion has been the cause of more death and suffering in the world then anything else.Dom
normiss 891 #61 August 25, 2010 Is that not the same thing??? You distrust those that don't believe the same way you do. Sounds the same to me. Personally, I choose to not follow any organized religion and my beliefs are personal. Not that this should matter to anyone but me.

dgskydive 0 #63 August 25, 2010 s that not the same thing??? You distrust those that don't believe the same way you do. Quote So my religion is not having a religion? OK fine. Then mine is right and if you don't agree with me I chop your head off and claim your women and property for my own. All of your male offspring will be my servants and their offspring will belong to my offspring from now until the end of time. Not even death shall be an escape for them. Seriously though. Dont hate on me for not believing and distrusting please. You dont make me feel good and I have the right to feel good even if you dont agree. Nor should a church move because of the color of their skin, or the name of their religion, or the sexual orientation of the people who make up that church. >This is not about race Bill, it is about religion . . . Correct. And prejudging people based on either is a bad idea. >Just ask a female Muslim. Oh wait... you cant. They will stone her to death. Uh - do you actually _know_ any Muslim women? I do. They're pretty much regular people; none that I know have been stoned to death.
dontsplatmatt 0 #66 August 25, 2010 QuoteQuoteYou REALLLLLY do not want to compare my acceptance of other human beings to those of you who purport to be good patriotic christian americans on this forum. Acceptance of other human beings is different the accepting a religion that IS NOT TOLERANT of others. I accept people, not religion that tells me to kill you if you dont agree with me. Christianity? normiss 891 #67 August 25, 2010 I'm not hating on you at all for your beliefs. I'm simply trying to point out that your perspective is the same as the ones you distrust. Again you have referenced the attitude of the EXTREMISTS, NOT the majority of the followers. That's like me hating and distrusting ALL women because I have met some that were liars, cheats, drunks, thief's, saw life differently than I did, hid things from me, were poor parents, etc. This simply is not true of women as a whole. Quite unfair to them were I to think that. Only a select few that I was smart enough to leave be. "Thank God"

Then showed you where the book that they base their life on says that that is how it should be, then some of them blew up some of your family and friends. billvon 3,107 #71 August 25, 2010 >Just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it never happens. Of course. Nevertheless, the statement that you can't ask Muslim women how they feel because "they will stone her to death" is inaccurate. Or to be more specific, it is as accurate as saying that you should ask the children of Christians if their parents love them. Oh wait, you can't - the Bible says to kill them. normiss 891 #72 August 25, 2010 I would still believe that have a right to construct their homes. Even in my neighborhood. If the videos you provided were from a third world country and not in the USA, of a small minority of extreme women, I would most likely dismiss your fears and distrust.
