AggieDave 6 #5 August 23, 2010 Here's a breakdown: "Where is this month's Parachutist?" BONFIRE: boobies! Speaker's Corner: "Its a vast conspiracy by the *insert political party* to prevent a true message from being sent!" Women's forum: Who knows, but 6 guys will reply in the thread. General Skydiving: "Glenn Bangs probably stole it for his executive bathroom" Safety and Training: "You don't have enough jumps to read Parachutist." Gear and Rigging: "Your BS rigger probably closed it in your rig, send it to my shop and I'll send it back to you fixed for a 'small' fee." History: DB Cooper jumped with it, at least that's what my ex-con dead husband told me once when he was off his meds." Swooping: "Try downsizing and switching to a JVX." Other language forums: "Que?" or "Was?"--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

CanuckInUSA 0 #10 August 23, 2010 Some will say that Obama stole it from you since you are not allowed to have private possessions in Obama's new world order, but the Obama supporters will get mad and blame it on GWB. Not to be out done Billary will get in on the action telling you that he/she did not have sexual relations with the postman. Bush Sr will tell you he did not raise your taxes, so you should have your magazine. Jimmy Carter will smile at you in a senile way and then put a hammer in your hand demanding you start building him houses for free. Then Ronald "Ray Gun" Reagan and the rest of the dead presidents will start visiting you in your sleep. It's presidential conspiracy why you did not get your Parachutist. JohnRich 4 #11 August 23, 2010 QuoteSays the guy who just posted a suicide joke in General Skydiving? It wasn't a joke, it was a news item, and I said nothing at all funny about it. It wasn't even about an active skydiver as far as I know, but rather about a despondent rock singer in Europe who leaped from an antennae. Ladies and gentlemen, I would provide the thread reference so you can see for yourself how badly jakee has misrepresented my actions, but for some reason, I'm sure unrelated to my posting, that thread has been removed from public sight. I'm shocked at how far you have sunk here, jakee. It's pathetic. If you can't counter my arguments with real facts and logic, you shouldn't go around making up fictional insults. You trampled that path downhill, JR. You posted an excerpt and a link (your usual way of starting a post) showing that a British singer was jumping to death from an antenna pole/tower. What does that suicide has to do in General Skydiving? After I posted my nauseated reply, even your mate called it a *joke*. " ... and if you can't get a joke, sell your gear ..." - that was his reply to me. There is nothing misrepresented by Jakee. It's just you, who again twisted someone elses words. What a poor performence. Disgusting. dudeist skydiver # 3105

That you called it a BASE jump and put it in the skydiving section was a joke. What did it have to do with skydiving? QuoteLadies and gentlemen, I would provide the thread reference so you can see for yourself how badly jakee has misrepresented my actions, but for some reason, I'm sure unrelated to my posting, that thread has been removed from public sight. Because it had a) nothing to do with skydiving and (probably) b) the moderator there thought it was in incredibly bad taste. QuoteI'm shocked at how far you have sunk here, jakee. It's pathetic. If you can't counter my arguments with real facts and logic, you shouldn't go around making up fictional insults. Seemed to me like everyone who responded to the thread thought you were joking as well. Seemed much more likely than you being so clueless as to actually think that a suicide is a BASE jump and that a report of it belongs in General Skydiving. Point is, you've been here many years and have many posts, so when you've just had one of your own threads removed for being grossly inappropriate for the forum you put it in, it's a bit rich for you to go lecturing someone else on the proper use of each section of the website. If you haven't figured it out by now, what chance has he got?Do you want to have an ideagasm?
