While I'm sure we can all trust the accurate and unbiased reports from the Christian Broadcasting Network it might be nice to see the actual words* in the actual textbooks that they're complaining about before jumping to any conclusions.



* And by that I mean paragraphs and pages, not just two word snippets.

Honestly this is not anything new that we did not know was going on. I mean look at Kansas, they have banned the teaching of evolution because it is contrary to christianity.

There are whackos from four big faiths trying to skew the education system in the US. Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Atheists all want their point of view to run things, and all four have nutbag zealots. I've got no problem with a section on Islam as long as they do the same for other faiths. Good luck getting reps from each faith to agree what to teach about their own and the other, though.

I agree completely but at the same time I believe they should be taught to inform people of the different beliefs and not to treat them as Fact in the textbooks
