Amazon 7 #1 August 10, 2010 Mosque's new neighbor Ethel C. Fenig The Muslims behind the plan to build a mosque and Muslim community center near Ground Zero claim it is to serve as an outreach center for friendship and interfaith dialogue and relations. Greg Gutfeld would like to reciprocate. In a gesture of friendship Interested? He is open to investors at his website. After all it should be a success since he is as sincere about opening the bar for friendship as the Muslims are opening their Ground Zero for community outreach. After all, the belief driving them to open up their center near Ground Zero, is no different than mine. My place, however, will have better music. wmw999 2,603 #6 August 10, 2010 Realizing full well that his purpose is to piss off the neighbors, if he has the money and the property, and zoning laws allow it, why shouldn't he put one in his property? But I'm not sure how long a bar with an extra floor that doesn't even serve drinks will last . He's paying money to show his pissed-off-ness -- that's as American as apple pie Wendy P. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. Well since there are none in Iran.... it must be a bitch for him to find some strange over there. Not that there is anything wrong with that sort of thing. billvon 3,133 #11 August 18, 2010 >He's paying money to show his pissed-off-ness -- that's as American as >apple pie He might be too late. The New York Dolls strip club is already there, a block from this place. Presumably this will reduce the amount this guy is able to piss anyone off; sort of an outrage dilution effect. The important question - could Greg Gutfield sue them as a result, due to his suffering a loss of his ability to piss people off? The strip club, in turn, is only a block from the mosque that's already there, the Manhattan Masjid mosque (which is apparently not offensive to anyone.) Skyrad 0 #12 August 18, 2010 Just another attention seeker. If anyone is cashing in on 911 its this man who is simply using the publicity about the Mosque to cash in. As far as his 'business idea' goes its nonsence. But if people are stupid enough to invest in this idea then they deserve to lose thier money for being moronic As for someone opening a gay bar in New York, no big deal. But opening one next to a Mosque and expecting to get 'Islamic men' to go into it... Plain stupid. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. normiss 906 #13 August 18, 2010 Just like the one on 245 West Broadway. Surrounded by bars and liquor stores. Apparently it's easier to simply accept and believe what the media feeds the sheeple than to do your own research and really know what's going on. Seems a LOT of people are doing that in this case. Let them build their Mosque.

Here's an idea... get a new sign for the strip club adding the Arabic translation for the club name. Oh I don't know... they seem to do a pretty good job of getting a LOT of conservative men in Washington to go to their clubs to play. I would just like to note mind you... that in the arab world and thereby the islamic world since that iswhere it all stems froml.. male to male sexual relationships are complex.. and not at all uncommon regardless of what people like Ahmedinejad want to try to spout. I think some of the guys attending the Islamic "community center" might also find a little fun right next door.
