happythoughts 0 #1 August 8, 2010 There is an old saying about soldiers who came from the US farms and went to Europe. They found the world was more interesting once they'd been to Paris. They didn't want to return to their old life. That is the issue with exposure to Western lifestyles. The 9/11 pilots went to strip clubs when they were in Florida training. Eventually, fundamentalist Muslims will face the same fate that fundamentalist Christians do. People who profess a "faith" will only follow 5% of the tenets of that faith that they choose. Example - all the people who go to church in the US, but are having extramarital sex with their SO. Islamic leaders call the US the Great Satan, using the same words as fundamentalist Christian leaders who vilify Hollywood. They will become just as non-essential as they become a fringe element that people give only nodding notice to.
