I don't think anybody can get to be the President of the US without thinking quite a bit about themselves. Nor, do I think that's really a surprise to most reasonable people. The real question is; "does it overly affect the way the person performs their duties?" In Obama's case, I gotta say no. I'm pretty sure you've bitched and moaned every time he's shown any deference at all to any head of state from any other country regardless of whether or not he's on their turf or ours. Some Presidents have never considered the possibility of simple and normal cultural gestures toward other heads of state as a positive signal that they'd like to connect, rather than simply dominate other countries. Is Obama narcissistic? Like I said, yeah, a bit. Is he as bad as some others? Hell no. Yes the nature of this type of job most likely requires one to be a bit narciccistic. But many here claimed Bush was narcissistic.
