I agree that it codifies values we hold sacrosanct - and therefore it's unlikely to be repealed (I hope), but any part of it, or all of it, can be repealed by the formal amendment process. Yes, the first ten amendments could technically be repealed, since the mechanism to do so is codified in the Constitution. It would never actually happen, but the mechanism exists to do so.
