Harris: Obama knew of Blagojevich plot

Before anybody jumps me on this I am more curious as to how statements such as this would/could or might play out in other cases/trials??

I dont have any idea of the truth of this or where it might lead and anymore I really don't care.

But, to lawrocket and Andy I ask how this kind of testimony is looked at in other cases and or trials?
