Well, I'm saddened by a couple of things in the address;

1) It sounded to me like less than half of it was written by his regular speech writer Jonathan Favreau. The meter and language of the first half of the speech was off.

2) He went religious at the end. I don't see this as something God is going to fix. We need to fix it and any implication that God will make it all work out in the end is, to my mind, simply not helpful.

It seems God had Jesus working on it but he wasn't making any progress so God punished him.
