Fast 0 #1 June 2, 2010 I see something wrong with this interpretation of things.... Here are two articles regarding this issue: http://stossel.blogs.foxbusiness.com/2010/06/02/abuse-of-power/ http://gizmodo.com/5553765/are-cameras-the-new-guns Thoughts?~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. tr027 0 #2 June 2, 2010 I agree with Stossel's article. Citizen video is so far the only effective deterrant to police abuse of power. Oscar Grant for example...hopefully police executions will remain a rare occurance."The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. wildcard451 0 #3 June 2, 2010 Complete and utter bullshit. Why are they exempt to citizen oversight and being responsible for their actions. Let the police abuse continue. Not that we would want to, but are we allowed to tell the cop to turn off his camera because we do not consent to the surveillance?
sundevil777 102 #4 June 2, 2010 The very real possibility of getting caught abusing power is pretty much the only thing that holds them in check. Personal integrity is not enough. If lawmakers in the states with such laws won't change the law, then it should be pursued by referendum. I believe such referendums would pass by a huge majority. This is the sort of issue the ACLU or other such groups should take pursue.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Coreece 190 #6 June 3, 2010 Good shit my friend...good shit... Don't worry...it's all gonna be exposed soon...I just wish this wannabe's would keep it off you tube. I've just about had enough with these fuckers. (law enforcement) All I can say right now.... The important part is that we don't give law enforcement more authority...get a clue!
