Washington (CNN) -- Mexican President Felipe Calderon addressed two of America's most contentious political issues during a speech to the U.S. Congress Thursday, asking for a return of the assault weapons ban and blasting Arizona's controversial new immigration law as a "terrible" endorsement of racial profiling.

It makes one wonder why he would be against immigration reform.

It seems logical to me that with all the money influxing into the Mexican economy because illegals are sending their illegally gotten gains home, that he WOULD be upset if that were to strt tapering off.

Pretty interesting that a leader of any given country would want his people to infiltrate immigrate to a nother country. If you look at it from a financial standpoint though, it makes perfect sense. I believe that is why it is encouraged from the Mexican government.

Most of those weapons were paid for by the U.S. to HELP Mexico fight the cartels!
