Who said anything about a violent takeover? You need to read the agenda of the Tea Party and not bits and pieces thrown around by the left.

QuoteRight, because if I go to a completely neutral web site, like say, YouTube and type in the search phrase "Tea Party Crazy" it won't show anyone in the Tea Party that's fuckin' nuts and suggesting a violent overthrow of the government.
Unfortunate for you, what YOU want the tea party to be, and what it really is, is, two different things

Just ask the teacher

Since I obviously don't speak the same language as you, could you explain who this "teacher" is? Is it the same one that teaches Tea Party members spelling and English or is it the one that teaches them the weird version of history they appear to subscribe to?

QuoteJust ask the teacher...***
Yeah. Hell of a teacher. Let's use lies and deception in an effort to silence those who disagree with us. Pretty much the DNC party line in re the tea party. What's funny is that the left tries to dismiss the tea party folks as meaningless, but at the same time goes to such extremes in an effort to discredit them. I smell fear in the air.

I was a firefighter for the United States Forest Service for 23 years. My wife still works for the agency and her office looks much like the one that was blown up in 1995.
Back in the 80's we had ranger stations burned to the ground by extremists who did not get their way.
We have both put our lives on the line in service of our country and could have easily made more money in the private sector.
Anyone that answers yes to your question simply does not have a clue what we do, They hate paying taxes but if there is a fire running full speed at their house they want us there.
To some we are the enemy but we are also your next door neighbor and maybe your mailman. Oh yeah, and we pay taxes too!
I don't hate the US government, We ARE the US government.

QuoteYou're equating virtually every federal employee with "the government". That's fine, if you choose to define it that broadly. But from context, I don't think the article in the OP does.
No I am not, the nut jobs are the ones who equate every federal employee with "the government"
Timmy Mcveigh slaughtered little kids because they were in a federal building.
The teabaggers need to shut the fuck up, get a life, pay their taxes and go vote if they think someone else can do a better job. They remind me of a spoiled kid in the cereal isle at the supermarket throwing a tantrum becuase they did not get the frootloops they wanted.
No one has taken away their freedom and they are welcome to leave if they want to.

QuotePost: Gonna be some real changes in the very near future. About time!
Don't hold your breath.
The question of 'Do you hate the US government' is a tricky one.
As much as many will like to beleive I hate America and Americans as a whole because I have the audacity to point out some problems with the USA, these problems are reoccuring the world around and have more to do with corruption than 'most' of the policies that are in place.
There are many beautiful things about the US governmnet. Administrations change but many of the policies have been in place for a couple of hundred years or more, and are set in what was thought of as stone. This was to protect the people of the United States of America from rougue politicians that intend on gaining personal power and finance at the expense of the american people.
Now the reality is that the current administration and many previous have a culture of abusing these laws and even overiding them for the sake of thier own personal progress at the expense of the american people.
There are policies like the freedom of information act and first ammendment that allow the US people have thier say and get thier information if need be.
The american government changes with each administration, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
Hate is a strong word.
To emcompass the government entirely and hate every aspect of it would be stupid.
Government is vast and the good deeds of the good guys are claimed by the bad guys and the bad deeds of the bad guys are blamed on the goood guys, that is human.
Your question is deeply flawed!

"Do you hate the US government?" is the title of the article. An article on CNN which is a known as a “liberal one-sided rag”.
Thank you for your service to our Country, but we do not hate paying taxes, we just want a responsible and accountable Government which is now totally out of control. We want to get rid of all the dead weight, lobby groups and useless laws made by grandstanding politicians who can’t get a real job.
I bet your ranger station was burned down by some liberal fanatics in their own sick efforts on some silly issue. You know, the people who put animals and plants before people.

What makes you think I haven't?
I've read more than enough to know that it sends powerful yet misguided messages to some people that are going to take them the wrong way.
It uses the language and imagery of violence rather than reason.
It's dangerous and should be stopped. Not by "the government," but from within.
