On Saturday I attended an educational day for one of our local air medical service providers (i.e. helicopter medevac), and the medical director for the service mentioned that more and more doctors are returning to the use of ketamine for anesthesia for various things including intubation.

if one cares to take a good read of the variuos sources related to hallucinogenic drugs it becomes quite clear that there is a strong connection between the experience of a hallucinogen induced trip and the way people tend to see themselves afterwards. - in other words: a trip (shrooms lsd or other psycoactive stuff) certainly changes your views and beliefs of the world and yourself. moreso if you are not the usual drug user doing it just for the kick,

and it is for a good reason mushrooms have a long shamanic tradition - no wonder the modern day shamans (shrinks?) are interested in the stuff

Been there done that. For the weak minded tho. Not a good thing. Done every natural drug out there. You need somebody, shall I say as a, caretaker til they come down. Give a good hit of LSD on the first one. LOL. Them days are over. I just like to be an observer anymore. Getting to old.
