I'd agree. IMHO, Religion goes hand in hand with Intelligent design - I don't believe god created the earth in exactly 144 hours then chilled for 24 - but I do believe that the earth is too much to be a chance. Problem is people take things too damn literally

?? No one. We still see animals, plants and bacteria evolve as we watch. Heck, we've seen a dozen new species emerge even in the short time we've been watching.

Think of it this way. A few thousand years have been enough to force-evolve a wolf into a chihuahua; we just replaced natural selection pressures with artificial ones. Now just imagine what a few billion years of natural selection will do.
