Last post on this topic its getting far off but.

I like how you think since I hate obama im a republican and bush was my hero. I pretty much hate all of them. Im no hippie or anti-the man either.

As stated above the country as a whole was mad as hell and wanted to get to the bottom of things so it would not happen again.

His security advisors and other people that do that sort of spy things gave him and congress the info. Bush was not on the streets of every suspected country doing what the CIA or whoever does that shit.

As a leader you have to put the right people in place to get the right info you need. We got enough of what sounded like good info needed to say ok lets stop this (find bad guys, stop tyrants, WMD whatever).

I think anyone with american pride, given what you believed to be good intel, had a nation that was mad as a hornet would have done similar. Think of how many people were killed, the attack on the pentagon, the following anthrax attacks right after. Once again if the democrats wanted to stop it they could have shown their displeasure in that vote, but for 81 of them they believed in the effort also, or bowed to the people the represent who were mad as hell and wanted it to stop and never happen again if possible.


Think of the pilots who are flying in any war. They are up there in the sky unable to see in a building. On the radio intel is obtained, it is sent to command, it is verified as much as can be, and someone decides its a hot target lets act. The pilot gets the word to light it up. There are a few checks from the ground, probbaly another confirmation, and boom he kills 4 kids and a dog in that house. Whos ass gets plastered in the news? The pilots mostly...

Did he WANT to kill those kids and that dog? No he was doing his duty acting off of info given from fellow professionals who by bad intel on their own, or whatever told him here is bad guys we can take them out, do it.

You can come back and say it was oil, ok fine might the hell have been, but tell me Sadam was a fine upstanding citizen that has never done anything horrible like retaliatory executions of 148 Shiite men and boys from the town of Dujail in the 1980s which he was convicted and hung for. Have we not made life better for people in many nations since it all started?

To show another side of it I wish we would bring the large portion of the military home. I believe a large portion of our debt to be from over there. At this point after the few last large pushes in afghanistan most military actions would be more suited for small covert teams and uav drones with hellfires. Not that I hate the military, but we have our troubles at home, and although they chose to join I see how terrible it is for spouses left a home with the kids have it while their military counterpart is away in the suck.
