Lucky... 0 #2 March 21, 2010 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100321/ap_on_bi_ge/us_health_care_overhaul WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama and House Democratic leaders struck a last-minute deal Sunday with abortion foes to secure the final few votes needed to remake America's health care system, writing a climactic chapter in a century-old quest for near universal coverage. Done deal.
Lucky... 0 #3 March 22, 2010 People ballsy enough to go for fail even after the dems released that they had it locked with the Stupak agreement? Alrighty then, hope over reality.
FallingOsh 0 #4 March 22, 2010 It honestly makes me physically sick to my stomach. A bunch of self-serving criminals swindling a blind vote for legislation on topics of which they know absolutely nothing about. They have zero interest in what the public wants and only vote to secure their own personal agendas. I can't even begin to imagine why anyone would support a group of people or a history changing decision like this. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life. See, you just claimed I can't see other's position, well, smoke this for a while, I had to deal with your hero spending his entire first term pushing thru the Overtime Bill, which he buillied the Dems into caving. Real great; your guy wants to rip OT from some professions, my guy wants to provide HC for as many as possible: you have your hitler, I have Schindler. Not only that, but GWB pushed his tax cits thru using reconcilliation, so now you infer dirty pool as the Dems do it. BTW, how did those tax cuts workout for you guys? Oh, 5T in the red; yea I heard. pmw515 0 #19 March 23, 2010 Well, it passed, and that means I have to buy health insurance which I can’t afford. If I could afford it I would buy it. Now I have to figure out how to pay for insurance or I will be fined (which I also can’t afford). I have lost the freedom to choose not to buy something. If this stands, then logically Congress can dictate that I buy anything- a car, a house, a shirt, or anything else they deem is “in my best interest.” Oh well, maybe the courts will reverse, maybe not. This is the worst birthday present I’ve ever received. Happy birthday to me! Rant over.
