What part of "low IQ's in general" do you think meant something other than, "Palestinians are stupid?"

I'd bet dollars to donuts that the good Captain1976 has not met too many Arabs in the flesh. They are no more stupid than anyone else, including Jews.

I have quite a few Arab friends. We joke around a lot since they aren't fanatics.

As Dan has pointed out, you are confusing education with IQ. Ignorance != stupidity.

Given how much anger the topic generates, it's usually better to avoid inflammatory statements like the Arabs are too stupid to handle the situation. There are better ways to say that their leadership is unwilling to look in the interests of their people, and would rather leave them to rot. But that comes down to self centered leadership, not low IQs among the Arabs of the region.

"Let us be clear. All settlement activity is illegal anywhere in occupied territory and must be stopped."
UN chief Ban Ki Moon

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArtVty.jhtml?sw=settlement&itemNo=1157660

UN Human Rights Council passes 3 resolutions condemning Israel:
Another resolution called on Israel to stop building all settlements and move to withdrawing those now there, was passed by 45 votes with the EU supporting it and only the United States opposing.

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArtVty.jhtml?sw=settlements&itemNo=1158708

No doubt you think Ban Ki Moon, the UN and the EU are also uneducated. tell me did yu support apartheid in South Africa also?

The key difference being that the blacks in ZA weren't trying to kill off the whites.

The UN is a political entity, not an impartial one, and Israel is outnumbered greatly by muslim nations. That the mob can pass these resolutions is just as bad as that the US can block them all. The only advice the UN seems willing to provide to solve the problem is to tell Israel to surrender. Not much of a contribution, honestly.

(and aren't you being a bit ungrateful to the UN who voted israel into existence in the first place)

The Palistinians and their arab neighbors attacked a very young helpless country from the moment it came into existence.... THEY LOST

FUCK THEM

Unless you want to start rewriting history across the board in Europe...in Asia....in south America...in North America for the last few thousands of years that people have been doing the whole WAR thing.

It would have behooved them to make peace in 1948.....1956.....1967....1973....and since the beginning of the Intefada. At some point you need to get a firm grip on reality and realize you are just making it worse for your aspirations of being a nation and the betterment of your people.

Which nation are you referring to?

The post WWII environment is not the same as the existing one, and it was Britain and the Allied winners that choose this route to handle the millions of Jewish refugees.

It would be funny for the UN to try to tell Israel, with its hundreds of nukes, that they had to dissolve.

And supported greatly by (a) non-muslim nation.

Asking Israel to abide by their agreements or asking them to quit exacerbating the situation is not calling for their surrender.

Asking only they to abide by agreements with parties that won't do so as well, or the very vague "quite exacerbating the situation" isn't very realistic.

However history has shows that "these" humans generally take more from society than they give.

That is by far the most ignorant post I have yet seen.

Not because I am insulted but the amount of facts that are conveniently left out. Like when the Christians were killing people that said the world was not flat Islam was embracing science. Like that Baghdad was an escape for smart people and the educated. Like where math and algebra came from. The first medical documents and on and on and on.

What has hurt the region for the past hundreds of years is the industrial revolution and those countries happened to have oil. Ever sense then there has been other countries mainly Britain, Russia, France, and the US who have sacrificed the progression of the region for their gain.

Puppet governments, overthrowing democratically elected governments, making a state without any consideration for the people who already lived on the land.

Honestly read study something before you open your mouth. The facts always outweigh your opinion.

Reality isn't a denial. Former British colonies aren't nations.

Yes, it's rather sad that they then stopped evolving after Europe left the dark/middle ages. The oil money should have been a catalyst to move forward. And there's little excuse for the continued subjugation of women.

The United States was 13 colonies and then it became a nation. Not the same story for Palestine, which never existed. If you had any leg to stand on, you could prove it, but instead you're left with nothing but lame bleating. Ask Rhys how to do it.

is this the europe that slaughtered its way round the world armed with bigger guns than everyone else?

and there is little excuse for the richest nation in the world to imprison/subjugate so many blacks...

Within the span of a few decades, Jerusalem shifted from Roman to Persian rule and returned to Roman dominion once more. Following Sassanid Khosrau II's early seventh century push into Byzantine, advancing through Syria, Sassanid Generals Shahrbaraz and Shahin attacked the Byzantine-controlled city of Jerusalem (Persian: Dej Houdkh). They were aided by the Jews of Palestine, who had risen up against the Byzantines.

In the Siege of Jerusalem (614), after 21 days of relentless siege warfare, Jerusalem was captured. The Byzantine chronicles relate that the Sassanid army and the Jews slaughtered tens of thousands of Christians in the city, an episode which has been the subject of much debate between historians.

It's cute the way you and DD keep trying to dance, because you can't actually support the claim.

Back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper "Trouw" published an interview it had with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. This is what he had to say:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."
