billvon 3,173 #1 February 17, 2010 After watching all these arguments over the "real" causes of 9/11, it seems like people have divided themselves into two camps - the sheep who swallows whatever the government says, and the sheep who swallow whatever the Loose Changers say. Both are missing the point, a point which has been in plain sight since 1976, when Billy Joel began planning the destruction of New York. Joel grew up on Long Island - Hicksville to be exact, although he always claimed he was from Oyster Bay. This was just the first of many lies he constructed as he started planning the attack on New York and its eventual destruction. I am posting this in hopes that he can be stopped before it's too late, before he completes his nefarious plan. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Joel was supposedly home at his mansion on Center Island in New York - less than 20 miles from Ground Zero. Yet after all this time he has never produced any proof of his whereabouts on that fateful morning. He had earlier had a very public and drawn-out legal battle to have a dock built in front of his house, which the zoning board denied. He had always claimed this was for fishing, but in fact has never listed any income from any fishing on any of his income taxes. He never explained who was going to use this dock, and for what. Was he building this dock as a launching point for a sea-based attack against the Twin Towers and the bridges of New York? We'll never know now, because the Truther conspiracy has been deliberately diverting attention away from his activities and toward a smokescreen "controlled demolition" theory. Since then he's capitalized on 9/11 by staging several benefit concerts. He has claimed that he hasn't made any money from these concerts, although many Jewish business and community leaders (who were evacuated from the WTC just before September 11th) made money from them. The final bit of evidence was a song that was discovered in 1976; he was forced to release it (to "hide it in plain sight" so to speak) when a local reporter overheard him playing it at a club. The lyrics from the song: ================ I've seen the lights go out on Broadway I saw the Empire State laid low. . . . We held a concert out in Brooklyn To watch the Island bridges blow They turned our power down And drove us underground But we went right on with the show I've seen the lights go out on Broadway I saw the ruins at my feet, You know we almost didn't notice it We'd see it all the time on Forty-Second Street They burned the churches up in Harlem Like in that Spanish Civil War The flames were everywhere But no one really cared It always burned up there before I've seen the lights go down on Broadway I watched the mighty skyline fall. The boats were waiting at the Battery The union went on strike They never sailed at all They sent a carrier out from Norfolk And picked the Yankees up for free They said that Queens could stay They blew the Bronx away And sank Manhattan out at sea ============= How did he know the New York skyline would fall? How did he know that they'd send ships from Norfolk and dock them at the Battery? How did he know that less than three months later, fight 587 would attempt to "blow the Bronx away?" Why did he talk about the "Island bridges blowing" - especially since he was trying to build a dock that would allow boats easy access to the bridges to Long Island? Then, years later, just before 9/11, he did a concert with Elton John, where he sang a song that once again was clear evidence of what he planned to do: ============ If you feel that it's real I'm on trial And I'm here in your prison Like a coin in your mint I am dented and I'm spent with high treason Through a glass eye your throne Is the one danger zone Take me to the pilot for control Take me to the pilot Lead me through the chamber Take me to the pilot I am but a stranger =============== He's singing about committing treason, and demanding "a stranger" be taken to the pilot "for control!" He even references the "glass eye" (cockpit peephole) and passing "through the chamber" (the cockpit.) It's clear what he's singing about and who he was sending a message to. Did he do this because he was unable to build the docks to launch his strike? Why didn't anyone stop him while there was still time? And why is everyone ignoring this? loumeinhart 0 #2 February 18, 2010 The song is called Miami2017 and the live version off of Songs in the Attic kicks serious ass. That was actually the first version I heard. Then I heard it on Turnstiles and it sucked.

philh 0 #11 February 18, 2010 OH Bilvon you are just scratching at the surface at the global music conspiracy to enslave us all. Billy Joel is just one of many in the music business in on the conspiracy theory. What about Primal Screm who signalled the attack by releasing the song "Bomb The Pentagon" just one month before 9/11?

Not that it matters much but, I'm curious about the duties and responsibilities of the moderators here on the SC. In the other forums or newsgroups I have experienced, the function of the moderator was more like a referee. In this forum the moderators take authoritative positions and judge on the quality of the posts based on their personal criteria. One comes across as an intelligent professional and the other not so much. But, why do they jump into the fray?Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. philh 0 #14 February 18, 2010 Other forums Ive been on the moderators do give their opinion, why not? They are just there tomake sure everyone keeps to the rules of the forum, that doesnt mean they cant give their own opinions. Can you imagine how broing it would be to moderate without commenting? The moderators here are regular posters who have volunteered to help keep some semblance of order. If they enjoy getting involved in certain discussions why shoul they have to give that up when they become mods? QuoteIn this forum the moderators take authoritative positions and judge on the quality of the posts based on their personal criteria. Moderators here are double hatted. Most of the time they are just wearing their regular poster hat. In that respect they are as free to judge the quality of your arguments as anyone else here is. Only when the rules of the forum are stretched do they put their moderator hat on. When have you seen any moderator comment, wearing their moderator hat, on the quality of someone's post?
