Most people in the movement are small business owners who are under increased pressure from foreign countries to produce their products cheaper all while government wants more and more revenues so it can pay for it's public union workers. To own a business i have to have a city , county and a state business license 125.00 min each . then a corporate charter cost 125.00 a year, then every year the fire dept. charges 75.00 to inspect my fire extinguishers,and every year i have to recharge the extinguishers. a 250.00 a year permit to have any type of oil or coolant on the property . not to mention the expenses if i want to hire an employee . This is all before i can earn a single dime . soon i will be mandated into having health insurance and pay for extended unemployment benefits . I could go on and name more expenses such as mandatory garbage collection . and waste permits and ect. and all the while the government wants me to compete with rice farmers who gets 2.00 a day wages. You clearly think as James stated above or you simply fail to understand the concept of 'affirmative action'. I guess it was wrong of us to think you would. I will try to give you one more example. If someone is given an opportunity solely based on their race i.e. 'affirmative action' then someone else is denied that that same opportunity based on their race. When you deny a person or group of people an opportunity based on their race that is racism. Do you understand? Should we not strive for equality for all and favoritism for none? If so then we need to progress and move away from affirmative action. Can you answer the 2 questions I posed to you... I have low expectations. ps- I understand history so you can save the key strokes.*I am not afraid of dying...
