WSJ

Quote

"The tremendous amount of economic activity associated with housing, I can't see that coming back," says Harvard University economist Lawrence Katz. "That was a very unhealthy part of the economy."

Quote

One in three jobs, or six million total, have been lost in the manufacturing sector since 1997, the last year the sector posted job gains.

One in three.

The tone of the article is WTF?
All the "experts" are avoiding any type of prediction.

Housing will alwqays "come back". It's just a matter of where does it come back to. People who bought their homes with little or nothing down in the last 4 years are fucked and will be forever to get out from under it.
Please don't dent the planet.
