Ok, so he's obviously decided he's only going to be a one term Congressman, has nothing to lose at this point and has decided to go full on bulldog against the Republicans. I sort of feel ashamed at liking this, but I do admire his sense of humor in his attacks.

The article itself says that. I just remember back when Carville's strategy to get Clinton elected was "It's the economy, stupid." With the economy the way it is, and people scared to shit about the health care issue, this issue may get a great deal of populist traction in the 2010 elections. And in Florida, even in the Orlando area that he represents, with the state's large population of retirees, health care is Issue Numero Uno: "It's health care, stupid."

For the record though, I do think a couple other of Greyson's recent ads cross the line. Politics isn't "pretty", but some things can get pretty uncool once we get into negative ad season.

Of course, that's not just Greyson, that's just about everybody.

You might want to check the post you just replied to. It's slightly under a year old. I guess time changes how some people operate when they go out on a limb and are then become the target of constant attacks. It's kinda sad too. He was pretty cool when he first came into office but he now uses the same tactics as those used against him. It happens to everyone though.

I'd go so far as to say we all have mirrored the attacks used against us at one time or another. Eye for an eye and what not.
