Isn't that cute and see, your party is doing the same thing, which is why we will probably have a public option. Fart and joke around and you lose all the way. I was talking to a Republican friend of mine, he calls himself that altho he has the political intellect of a 5th grader, and I asked him if the HC goes thru that he hates so much, will he sign up for it. BTW, he hasn't had it for years like me. He said he would. I asked him if he thinks it is so bad then why would he contribute to its awefulness. He said he feared illegasl would get it. So this dipshit wants himself to go w/o HC so some illegals *might* get it. I just have to shake my head.

So what, I have friends who run the scale from brilliant to dipshit; don't we all? To me, if a program would help you and you reffuse it for some traditional reason with no function, that clsssifies them as a dipshit. Maybe a descent guy, but a dipshit. Kinda like, get out of the way of the bus before it runs you over. If my best friend wouldn't move, he would still be my best friend, but a dipshit. Let's not use neo-con binary reasoning here, friendship and intelligence are often not parallels.

This is what always confuses me. Illegals ALREADY are getting free healthcare, right now - but some people are still concerned that illegals "might" get it.* Don't pray for me if you wanna help - just send me a check. *

Great point, now they just create an emergency, go to ER, get the care and the hospital can waste their time and go after them, which they don't. See why I called him a dipshit? And who chided me for that?

I guess that we just have different definitions of "friend." You are seeming to cry at such a harsh comment as "wow" from some random on the internet that you have never even met... yet had no reservations with respect to insulting your self-stated "friends." The JR plan will only work if the person is a head of lettuce and doesn't care about their credit rateing or their quality of long term care. A person goes to the ER without insurance will be billed for the services recieved at full price. After three month's the unpaided bill will be turneed over to a collection agency and the persons FICO score will go to shit for a long time. If you don't want to pay your bills go for it.One Jump Wonder
Lucky... 0 #11 October 24, 2009 QuoteI'm assuming that you think the answer to that would be "me." Yea, no hard feelings, just sayin. QuoteWhat you were "chided" for was tearing down a "friend" so callously. By calling him a dipshit for rejecting the idea of uni-care even tho he hasn't had an HC for years and would take it if it passes, yet is ardently against it. That's a dipshit whether he's my friend or not. I'm sure he calls me that for wanting HC and promoting Obama care, yet my desires are all consistent, his contrast. QuoteI guess that we just have different definitions of "friend." Yes and yours must be to be pretentious when you see a friend do stupid shit and act as if its normal. Of course we know this issue is really about anti-ini-care, not friendship; you are transgressing. QuoteYou are seeming to cry at such a harsh comment as "wow" from some random on the internet that you have never even met... yet had no reservations with respect to insulting your self-stated "friends." Actually you stated that you were shaking your head. I don't care, I understand it is entirely about uni-care. You see, you say you're a doctor, you have everything to lose her and this is again, a transgression about that. With Obama: - Your taxes will rise - If uni-care ever took ahold here and pushed private care to a minimum your wages would fall to 1/2 or 1/3 of what they are now I getcha, you're defending your position and I don't blame you, I hope you don't blame me for mine. Actually... RE-READ my initial comment. Scroll on up to post #4: Quote wow... I just have to shake my head. And the "I just have to shake my head" was a repeat of your comment just directly above it. What do I have to "lose"? Everything?! Not hardly. Money? Nope. Our family income does NOT primarily come from my occupation. I SERIOUSLY am only doing this job to HELP people. My current income is about half of what the national average is... and that is fine. I'm NOT in this for the money. If you think that is why I went to medical school, then you haven't a clue. If you think that the money was my motivation for residency, then you are deluded. You have no idea what it takes to get here and what motivates MOST physicians. But it's much easier to demonize anyone that has any opinion different from yours.... even "friends." Time? Nope. If (and that is a BIG if) the health care plan gets passed ... and if those greedy doctors had to convert to salary and not based on claims made/patients seen.... don't you think that the push to double and triple book just for the sake of more money would decrease. That would mean less slots to see patients. MORE time off. And if the gov't says "You have to see 'x' patients" I (as many doctors do) have the ability and the will to walk away. I have other skill sets that I can use. I am NOT a slave of the government just because I chose to get an education. Tax money? Dude! That's going to go up and Up and UP even without the health care plan. I have NO doubt about that. And you just want me more and more and more punished for trying to improve my knowledge and skills. And yes, I do mean PUNISHED. You seem to advocate taxes to punish those that have taken risks/accepted the challenge of life ... and succeeded. So they have to struggle to support those that didn't. I might be wrong on what you "want" - but that is my impression on your stance on taxing the "rich." So what is this "everything" that i have to lose? My husband? Nope. My family? Nope. My knowledge? Nope. My skills? Nope. I wouldn't lose a thing. Except... privacy of my health care records (which... I have limited privacy currently with the insurance companies paying. Except if I pay with cash and insist on that physician NOT using EMR) But health care aside, and taxes not withstanding..... my comment was strictly about your "friends." We have a difference in the use of that terminology. Your responses was crying because this mean evil doctor called you on it. (but... I like the "no hard feelings" comment... )

You are as bad as people you call partisan. Sometime you remind me of a left version of Rushmc.
