I'd want a list

Recommended Posts

Before I took orders to invade a country and kill people I'd want a list of the exact people who were the target.

I have a feeling that the vast majority killed and wounded in our "Enduring " Afganistan mission were completely innocent of any hostile feelings toward the US until the invasion/occupation.
Now anyone who takes offense to their brother being murdered or their 14 year old sister being raped by foreign troops is considered either "militia, an insurgent, or a Taliban sympathizer".

is that opinion, or do have something credible to back that up?

Listen, we were going there (officially) to defeat the Taliban for supporting Osama Bin Laden.

Can you tell me how many of those Afghani nationals killed were members of the Taliban?

How many were Osama Bin Laden?

How many of the Pakistanis?

Was Patrick Tillman Taliban?

IF not I feel pretty qualified in my assertion that more than Taliban have been killed and wounded by the US military during this "Enduring" and "Enduring, and "Enduring Freedom" campaign.

that's is what I was asking for the source for.

The rest of your post is clearly conjecture and/or opinion. I won't try to counter or ask for proof of it. Not because there is none (for I don't know that) but because it's your opinion. And I don't care to reverse your opinion if I could.

no, and you can't tell me how many were not members of the Taliban. And I wouldn't ask such an asinine question.

Don't be a dick. He gave his life fighting for something he believed in. Friendly fire sucks yeah, but combat is combat. Ever been shot at? By someone trying to kill you?

also, the unfeeling term "collateral damage" is an unfortunate reality of the real world colliding with combat. War sucks. Yeah.... nobody will disagree with that.
