cliffwhite 0 #1 October 1, 2009 It appears that some states will declare H1N1 vaccines mandatory. I can't recall through my hashish haze but I think it is New Hampshire ,possibly Masachusets which has already legislated just that. Of couse most all states mandate vaccine for all children entering state schools today. If the government were to mandate all citizens be vacinated against H1N1 would you comply? Why or why not? xtravrtsoul 0 #2 October 1, 2009 Uh no. I already had H1N1. It has gone through my city like the locusts. It started with the high schools and then on from there. They are just treating it like the flu and if you can afford the tests and antibiotics your stay at the Swine flu Inn will be a shorter one. But for the most part. I don't know if it can mutate and I can get it again. I am sure that is everyones question, but I am not going to get a vaccine. Not right now. And if I can remember right,it is not just one it is a series of 3 that is needed for it. Correct me if I am wrong. :)You create life, life does not create you. Ion01 2 #3 October 1, 2009 Apsolutely not. The government has no right to make any such mandate and I don't trust the government to let them inject me with some untested product. Not to mention the admitted ineffectiveness of flu vaccines as, unlike small pox, the virus changes from person to person so by the time you get H1N1 it may be different than what you were given a vaccine for. In addition, the original vaccine required 3 treatments and now they claim, with no real proof, that one will work. Besides the vaccine can make you sick....a vaccine is litterly giving you the virus....if it doesn't make you sick your immune system is weakened so if you encounter the virus during that time you are extra susceptable to it. In addition, the regular flu is still worse by all measures than H1N1 so why are we so focused on H1N1....or should I say why is the government so focused on it? Tell me , do you have any children and if so have you had them vaccinated against any disease? Blues, Cliff2muchTruth
rhaig 0 #5 October 1, 2009 I generally don't have a problem with vaccines. I know people who do. I also know people with medical condition that were caused by vaccines. (or so the judge said after looking at the testimony) So some people would certainly have issues with vaccines, and what seems to me to not be on conspiracy theory grounds. Me personally? I'll be getting a flu shot in 2 weeks for free at work. If it was legislated, I'd expect it to be available for free. If you're going to tell me I must do something (whether it's you, or the government telling me) it better be free, or something I'll get enough personal value out of that I don't mind paying for it.-- Rob
shropshire 0 #6 October 1, 2009 I'll not be taking it and I would NOT support a government mandate for it here. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome
