lawrocket 3 #2 August 29, 2009 QuoteBody isn't even in the ground yet. Stephanapoulis shoulda slept it off overnight before reporting it. Hey, Teddy is reponsible for the political disparagement of the living. Without him there's be no "Borking." And no, he's not in the ground yet, but he is embalmed - has been since at least '64. My wife is hotter than your wife.
Lefty 0 #3 August 29, 2009 I assume quade didn't just look at Stephanopulos' post and rush to judgment, so here are a couple of links that I'm sure he visited: Here is the clip of what Huckabee said on his radio show. Here is the exchange between Obama and Jane Sturm that Huckabee referenced (the pain pill thing) in case anyone is interested. Now tell me, did Huckabee sound anything but respectful to Kennedy?Provoking a reaction isn't the same thing as saying something meaningful. -Calvin

SkyChimp 0 #6 August 30, 2009 Oh please!!!!! This is the only presidential candidate that ran a clean, respectful campaign. McCain and Romney threw mud at each other but Huckabee stayed clear of it. I have respect for that. Does anyone else find it funny that we made a SPORT out of an EMERGENCY PROCEDURE?!?!

I grew tired of the fawning over the Senator before the body was even cold. Flags at half mast? Please. At least the Kennedy mystic is basically over now, unless Maria Shriver changes her name. The Democrats are going to use his corpse to further their cause (and already have started), so it's fair game for the Republicans to do the same. quade 4 #9 September 2, 2009 QuoteWas this another knee jerk reaction without all the facts? I had all the facts I needed. Huckabee's preface of disingenuous crocodile tears over the death Kennedy don't excuse anything. The fact remains Huckabee used the Kennedy's death to promote his opposition to healthcare reform. Distasteful and disgraceful.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #11 September 2, 2009 QuoteI provided you with links to the source material. Anybody that doesn't think I've listened to Huckabee's the comment is wrong. I'm sad you think I would comment on something I haven't personally heard myself. You may disagree with me, but get a clue. I will never comment on something I haven't heard.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Distasteful and disgraceful. And the dems using his name to push through the joke of a healthcare bill is honorable? I suppose since that fits your opinion then it's fine. I find the "do it for Ted" one liners much worse than Huckabee referencing a comment that originated from Obama. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life. That's the way it is. Using a dead man to accomplish you goals is a good thing. Unless someone opposes you. It's like the race card. This is the death card. My wife is hotter than your wife.
