quade 4 #1 August 18, 2009 I'll call him a "worthy adversary". A complete douche bag in a number of things he did, but interesting none the less. http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/08/18/robert.novak.obituary/index.htmlquade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Gawain 0 #2 August 18, 2009 He reviled in his nick-name, the "Prince of Darkness", he'd probably would've smiled at your comment with satisfaction. Sorry to see him go, though I don't think I was on the same conservative page as he was.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! lawrocket 3 #3 August 18, 2009 I wouldn't necessarily call him a douche bag, Paul. Partially because so many people from LBJ to Nixon and Kissinger to Darman and Jim Baker hated him. And LBJ was a friend! He'd get the inside scoop and report it. Which sometimes caused problems, such as with the Plame affair. Still, the cat brought it on. I respected him. Tenacious and informed. And he called it as he saw it. I disagreed with him frequently, but I respected it. The guy was just a raging pessimist on politics and politicians. In that, I found a voice, as well. My wife is hotter than your wife.
