BaronVonBoll 0 #1 August 1, 2009 Down the street from my house lives a woman. She is on section eight government housing. she pays fifty dollars a month for this five bedroom, 2 3/4 bath, house. Her welfare of aid ran out years ago so they put her on disability. "BiPOLAR". This plus food stamps gives her about 1200 a month. She is not employed at this time. She has two children living with her and she gets child support for both I dont know how much. Thats the situation. now, She rents out three of the room for 600 dollars a month each. It is suspected not confirmed that Crytal meth and pot are/is being sold out of the home. the front yard looks like a junk yard sale for used car parts, and lawn mowers. apparently the lawn mowers dont work as the weeds in the yard are about a foot tall. At any given time there are five to twelve cars parked outside the house, many of which are in various stages of repair. Now should this woman be reported for mviolating the rules regarding government housing or should she be applauded for getting over on the system? kallend 2,148 #3 August 1, 2009 What a piker. If she really wanted to bilk the taxpayers she'd be an investment banker or AIG exec.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
quade 4 #4 August 1, 2009 You'd report it to the local Public Housing Authority. It's their issue. Before you do that, you might want to go down to the city or county Hall of Records and just check up on who actually owns the house. My guess is that it's not her. It's probably being rented, that's usually how the system works. http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/programs/hcv/ My guess is you really don't give a flying poo about what goes on in the house or at least I hope you don't because it's none of your business. But you're concerned about the overall appearance of the property and what it might be doing to the surrounding neighborhoods real estate values. Part of the program states that the house must be kept in good repair. I think that's your line of attack with the PHA and the landlord.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
TomAiello 26 #5 August 1, 2009 I'd actually applaud her for selling the drugs out of the house. At least she's got some entrepeneurial spirit. Other than that, I'd just ignore it. Lots of more important things to worry about, without getting your neighbors mad at you.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com

StreetScooby 5 #7 August 2, 2009 We have a street where people park on the road, alot. a local detective told me the way to deal with it is call the cops and report that an emergency vehicle can't get up the road. I know this only helps with the street problem, but it's one way to put pressure on her to clean up her act. Who wants their kids exposed to that kind of shit?We are all engines of karma

When I was ~20 years old, I had a friend who was doing small drug deals. I think he was doing it more for the socializing, than for profit. When his mother found out, her reaction was: "If you're going to sell drugs, then at least sell enough to pay your bills.""There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Andy9o8 2 #10 August 2, 2009 I still think you should have a go at her. She won't know who her next kid is with anyway, right? Oh, wait, I forgot - DNA testing these days. OK, never mind.

IF you meant me, then I would reply: No he doesn't intimidate me. His debate skills DISAPPOINT me.
Andy9o8 2 #12 August 2, 2009 Nope. I meant a bunch of guys. Well, 3 or 4 in particular. They seem almost obsessed. Kinda icky.
