livendive 8 #1 July 10, 2009 So I've bought a couple firearms this year, an LMT Defender 2000 in March, and a Springfield XD-40 sub-compact yesterday, and I'm hoping I can find a better price on ammo online than I'm seeing locally. HSM .223 and .40 S&W are both running near 50 cents a round for target shooting at the DZ, plus I paid a buck apiece for some "stop doing that" .40 S&W rounds to keep in the house. Anyone here have good experience with a particular online retailer with better pricing? Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" mnealtx 0 #2 July 10, 2009 I've used ammoman to get some practice ammo several years ago, but that's it. I was well-satisfied with the price and service. I've heard Wideners is good, as well as Cheaperthandirt. Good luck!Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
ChileRelleno 0 #3 July 11, 2009 I shop online at, AMMOMNAN http://www.ammoman.com/index.htm Buy Ammo http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/ammo.html Ammunition to go http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/ Cabelas http://www.cabelas.com/ Cabelas may show as back ordered, and will give a approx time. Go ahead and order if they're the best price. They get shipments in very regularly and 60-75% of the time ship well before estimated time. I also use this sight to search various ammo deals, a really good resource for ammo shopping. http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=.223 I would NOT touch cheaperthan dirt gold.com, even if I'd just won a Lottery. Krip 2 #5 July 11, 2009 Hi Whenever your driving by Walmart call their sporting goods dept on your cell. IF They got the ammo you want buy the limit. Take GF with you so she can buy her limit of ammo. Repeat until you got as much as you want. We eventually bought 4k rds of 9mm at $.2/rd and 6k rds of 22LR at $.03 rd. I wouldn't be surprised if the target .40 S&W at your DZ came from Wal Mart. 100% markup on wally world ammo sounds sop for the resellers.Just have to keep on trying when your doing a drive by at wally world and cut out the reseller. On Line ammo source from what I'm reading on the net when someone posts in a chatroom that a online source got ammo in stock, by the time you read about it the ammo is gone One Jump Wonder

councilman24 37 #8 July 13, 2009 I used Ammoman, Widener's, Natchez Shooting Supply and Palmetto State Armory. Used to get a lot from Natchez and Widener's but not so much any more. Look's like Widener's as .40 for you. A few others. Cheaper than Dirt make sure you know what your getting.I'm old for my age.
