>The affair was with a woman this time.

True, and there were no underage people involved.

For all of you who can't keep up with the republican sex scandal du jour, here's a handy flowchart:

(psst - Mike - this is your cue to get in with a DDIF)

Is Mike not around? Maybe he's "hiking the Appalachian Trail".

No, I didn't bother answering - I already covered the STERLING examples of Mssrs Clinton and Edwards upthread, thanks. :P

Neither Clinton nor Edwards is the governor of SC.
As was mentioned previously in this thread:

To quote mnealtx, "*yawn*

Got anything RELEVANT to the thread? thx".

Have a tissue.

Don't like being hoist by your own petard, do you?

(Just like preachy social conservative GOP philanderers who get caught out).

:P
If you can't fix it with a hammer, the problem's electrical.

I gotta dig his wife. She wasn't standing next to him. She's basically said he can go to hell. His career isn't her problem. Their kids are her priority.

I'm diggin that chick.

Easy for her to say, she's independently wealthy, more so than he is.
Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

Well, next time you think of complaining about someone else being off-topic (which you do frequently when it suits you) I suggest you remember what you just wrote, and refrain from posting your complaint.

A little late, but all in all not a bad effort. Your GOP apologist card is safe.

A little late? That was on page 2, Bill...well before your bit'o'snark.

Yeah, about that - if you TRULY wanted an answer to the question posed in your title, you probably had that on post 3.

There is a large difference between a response to the FIRST off-topic post (mine to penniless) and a response to a thread drift that has gone on for a couple pages (yours to me).

So, yes - thread drift happens, and it still sucks to be you.

So you STILL don't have anything relevant to the thread. OK.

Should have thought of that before YOU joined in the thread drift (which started with post 9, btw - your participation in the drift was post 34), don't you think?

Still sucks to be you....but keep making yourself look as silly as you want, I'm quite enjoying it.

If the others had as long a record of whining about distractions as you have, I'd point out their hypocrisy too.:P

Use of relevant / SC posts:

Mnealtx: 47 /9873 - 0.47%
Jerryzflies: 11/691 - 1.6%

So you are a post-whore.

You are still guilty of criticizing others for the behavior you exhibit yourself.

So what? Is this another one of those brilliant statements that you somehow think is connected to the thread?

I point out how Democrats do the same thing they critize Republicans for. I also participate in threads both before and after thread drift happens.

In this case, the thread had already drifted to the adultery aspect by the time I responded. Making a counter-jab about Dem adultery and those who excuse it WAS in line responding to a post about Rep adultery and accusations of excusing it.

So, yet again...you're wrong.

Have a nice day, now.

Emphasis mine, since apparently you continue to miss the point by a mile.

BTW the hypocrite Sanford (who also condemned others for behavior he exhibits himself) has admitted to more indiscretions today. Par for the GOP course.

And par for the Democrat course to denigrate it when it's a Republican while excusing it from their own.

Please list the Dems who loudly and self-righteously proclaim "family values" while hiking the Appalachian Trail in South America.

If you can, you'll have a point.

Nice impossible qualifier you stipulate there, (You can decide if it's the part about Dems having values or the part about the Appalachian Trail), but I think we'll ignore it for a moment.

Frankly, I'm fed up with politicians in Washington lecturing the rest of us about family values. Our families have values. But our government doesn’t.

BILL CLINTON, speech at Democratic National Convention, July 16, 1992

Well, he certainly proved THAT true, didn't he?

Yes, you have a good point - at least on that topic, he's not a hypocrite.

Yes, you're correct - I can't find any quotes where Clinton said he had any values.

I've always had one handy... reply]

Why didn't you use it to look up "hypocrite" and "straw man" then, since these words seem to give you a lot of trouble?
