masterrig 1 #77 June 22, 2009 The fact that noone owns some of the ruminents I mentioned and so, who could be taxed in that regard? My thoughts are, some folks are trying to push global warming off on meat producing animals and make money in the process. All the 'cow tax' would do is put more farmers and ranchers out of business. I just see it as ridiculous. Why don't the 'greenies' do something about the un-regulated refineries on the other side of the Rio Grande that polute our air on this side of the river? Maybe, they could get countries that don't have regulations in regards to 'emissions' on factories and automobiles to get with the program. Naw, blame the cattle and sheep and pigs... it's easier. We should tax cucumbers, OH and broccoli too - Lets see if I quit eating those - how many carbon credits do I get for not farting as much?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
