labrys 0 #1 April 30, 2009 http://www.ohio.com/news/41409147.html In a nutshell. A guy with a history of bad behavior exposes himself to a woman cleaning an office building. He's done this before. She goes home and tells her husband what happened. Her husband finds the guy and clocks him. Her husband happens to be the local police chief. My thought process usually leans toward holding officials like this entirely responsible and entirely accountable when they break the rules.... but ...but, man. I'm having a hard time thinking that this police chief might lose his job. It just doesn't seem fair. I don't think he did anything most normally rational men wouldn't do. Any thoughts? Does he deserve to lose his job?Owned by Remi #?
justinb138 0 #2 April 30, 2009 I can understand why he did what he did, but I expect better from someone in his position.

n23x 0 #5 April 30, 2009 I think it should generally be as follows: If you use any of your professional power or influence for private matters (to get more money, or teach someone a lesson, etc), you should be severely punished, moreso than the average person. If you're a professional, but you fuck up without the above, you should be punished like any other normal person would be punished. He'll probably lose his job, but he shouldn't for defending his wife against some creepy piece of shit. .jim"Don't touch my fucking Easter eggs, I'll be back monday." ~JTFC

All legal, gets revenge, and punishes the guy. Doh!

lawrocket 3 #9 April 30, 2009 Defending his wife? If he's there when perv flashes, then he's defending his wife. The risk was over. He wasn't "defending" his wife. He was assaulting the perv/perp. Huge difference. He's a police chief playing vigilante. bad news. My wife is hotter than your wife.
