I understand your meaning, but I can't remember the last time when something sh*t the bed, and the whole gang didn't have to wear diapers. I've seen plenty of in-formation corrections, mild and not-so-mild. I was fortunate enough to be able to learn from those that got singled out. I'm not saying the whole gang shouldn't have to wear diapers, to borrow your metaphor. But the leaders are part of the whole gang. If the whole gang screws up, and the leader is telling them about it, that leader doesn't say "you fucked up," that leader says "we fucked up," and accepts responsibility as well. He doesn't berate the unit. Otherwise he's demonstrating piss poor leadership, which is usually a good indication of why the whole unit screwed up to begin with.Math tutoring available. You have a point if these guys have been together a long time, if he has been their head the whole time of that long time, maybe he tried a different tactic and it didnt work out so well... sure, you're right in some scenarios, but for all we know he may be doing them a favor by challenging them. maybe they need a little fire in their bellies. I was never in the military, but i've had some SOB's for football coaches and our best records came from guys like this (who is still holding back)- when you please a guy like this it makes you feel 1000x more proud and accomplished than the guy that that gives you a lolli anda kiss every time you successfully wipe your own ass.So there I was...
