My proposalto rid the nation of "gun crime" by crooks is to enforce the 2000 gun laws that are already on the books.

For a long time there has been zero tolerance for drug dealers. The same stds of extended sentence's needs to be applied to crooks with guns.

Sorry don't have a solution how tp prevent the nutter from doing what they do except for personal responsiabily for gun owners to maintain positive control of their firearms.

Nutters the chief of police of Tacoma Wa used his duty weapon to Kill his wife and then himself in a public place in front of their children.

Sometimes in spite of all the laws in place even if the police are the only ones carrying guns they still have the potential of going over to the dark side.

That's already done. And yet it's not working to your satisfaction. Why? Because criminals with guns don't think they're going to get caught, and don't think about the possible repercussions that might happen later. This is, once again, an after-the-fact measure, and not one that prevents gun crime from happening in the first place.

Thank you for that honesty. Both you and Billvon have admitted this now. There's no shame in that, because in fact, there is no solution to nutters going on massacres. It's like the suicide bombers in Iraq - someone willing to die in the commission of a crime, is never going to be deterred by threats of jail time in the future.
