Execs get paid for the work they do, even if it is bad, until they get fired. Weird concept right? i know it is a tough pill to swallow. The spending has been passed. Congrats, you found a typo. Apparently you need to look up the definition of "typo". That wasn't a typo, it was deliberate and misleading. Thlis id a tpo. I find it very odd that you are so amazingly protective of the very people who have brought the entire world's economy to the worst disaster in 3 generations. If you can't fix it with a hammer, the problem's electrical. BDashe 0 #28 March 11, 2009 I never said I supported the Bush administration's policies, though if i had to pick between two... We're going from one extreme to another- like saving a guy from drowning by saying "f*ck it, he can teach himself to swim" or utilizing the entire US Navy to save the guy. Neither make all that much sense, but I'll go with what makes most sense and effects the least number of people, if i have to pick. Hopefully, at some point we can find a middle ground. So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983
idrankwhat 0 #29 March 12, 2009 Quote well clearly, being the senior executive of a billion dollar organization is comparable to cleaning toilets for a living. You make a very great comparison of livelyhoods. f*ck apples to oranges, try cherries to planets, ha ha ha! Yea, they are at two ends of the scale. My point was the size of the scale. The minimum wage worker would have to work for nearly one thousand years to equal one year of compensation for the CEO. That's a ridiculous amount of compensation, especially when you consider that the toilet cleaner did a better job.
