riddler 0 #26 March 11, 2009 QuoteTHIS TOO SHALL PASS In about two years, according to the labor-statistics guessers. Already in four states (including California), unemployment is higher than 10%, and it's expected the entire country will peak at 11% next year. Add in self-employed and underemployed, and you get 15%-20% that are looking for work. Two more years of joblessness, on top of the year or more that many people have been out of work.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
Misternatural 0 #27 March 11, 2009 >Two more years of joblessness ..if people choose to sit on their asses and cry about it. My point being that there will be alternate jobs for those that really want them, will they be the same jobs?..not necessarily, they may have to retrain a little. You can try to talk the economy down all you want but save an epidemic people are going to find something productive to do, it's in our nature.Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires.
