rehmwa 2 #2 March 9, 2009 There another thread already - and your title is dishonest - it wasn't a ban on stem cell research it was a policy to not use federal funding on embryonic stem cell research private firms could research emby stem cells all they wanted to on their own dollars - ditto for the other kinds of stem cells so this is just really opening the door to even more spending (even though the oirigianl ban was a dumb distinction based on political positioning - can we just have a single announcement that doesn't add to our debt?) ... Removing a ban on using Federal research dollars to conduct a certain kind of research is not the same as adding funding for that research.
