Hausse 0 #26 March 6, 2009 Quotei hate religion. It creates division and social classes. Doesn't allow true freedom. Same with governments. Spirituality unites people. Who are you calling the ignorant morons? All the people that choose faith over sciences a.k.a. the truth!
pilotsR4pimps 0 #27 March 6, 2009 yes. i agree. We have confirmed evolution over and over but there are people out there who still truly believe the world is 10,000 years old. People need to look at ALL the facts and then make the best decision possible with the information at hand. Not take something that has been in their face their whole life and run with it like the majority does today. That is ignorance. If you told every one from an early age that we worship a red dinosaur on T.V then thats what they would know, worship, and fight for. I am not saying barney is a god. I mean he might be. Hausse 0 #28 March 6, 2009 Hm he most certainly would be much cooler then the old dude the christians have... Does he have any special super powers too? And do you get more then 72 virgins?
pilotsR4pimps 0 #29 March 6, 2009 i think it's only 71 virgins. I could settle for that. His only super powers are that he can control the people who will be our replacements with nonsense. Lol. It just shows that we follow what have always known.
Hausse 0 #30 March 6, 2009 Well in the end the only thing that's important is that our god is better then their good and if they don't believe that, we will have to start invading countries and killing the people that don't believe us. Oh yes and I demand that from now on instead of having "In god we trust" imprinted on the coins, there has to be "In Barney We Trust"! Edited to add: Is there any better way to celebrate my 1000th post then to ridicule morons? I don't think so!
pilotsR4pimps 0 #31 March 6, 2009 Lol. Can you see it? Sadly, i could. See, I DO NOT KNOW if their is a God. Highly unlikely, but I dont know. I have doubt which is humble and eventually leads to wisdom. Then I will make the most accurate decision with the info at hand. Therefore I do not go around forcing ideas and concepts that are not understood or agreed upon. Thats called ignorance. Happy 1000th post!!!!!!!!!! billvon 3,111 #32 March 6, 2009 >And otheres are just as strongly opposed to the misguided and unscientific >notion that everything just happened without a cause..... No one thinks that (other than your strawmen.) >that chaos resulted in order.... Do you believe that quartz crystals do not exist? >Besides if you don't beleive that something created the universe then the >only result is that something came from nothing.. An illogical conclusion. I could as easily say that if you believe that God created the universe, you think that men, dinosaurs and wolly mammoths cavorted happily in the fields about 4000 years ago. > Ever heard of the National Center for Science Education. The moto is defending >the teaching of evolution in public schools. They're defending the teaching of science in schools, actually. If someone wanted to teach that the moon was made of cheese they'd fight that too - because that's not science. >And so what if they are this is supposed to be a free country, athiest can speak >out against non-atheist and visa versa! But to completely remove one or the >other or restrict one or the other on any basis of belief is wrong and >unconstitutional! I agree. It's wrong when bible-thumpers do it and it's wrong when atheists do it. >The moment we start resticting freedom based on how people FEEL about >one thing or another then we are no longer free. So you are opposed to any efforts to take down atheist signs?

Have you never heard of the prove that science is wrong when the hat got fossilized and then carbon dated to over a Batchschillion years ago?? That proves EVERYTHING!!! champu 1 #34 March 6, 2009 ...from the website Quotea letter from your 17-year old “Mom, dad, after my first semester at college, I have to tell you that I don’t believe in God anymore. Science has proven evolution to be true. The Bible is a book of fairy tales. There is no absolute right and wrong. I know this goes against your values, but I now believe in gay marriage and a woman’s right to choose. I don’t want to hurt you, but I have to be open and honest with you--I’m moving in with my girlfriend. This doesn’t change my love for you, and I hope you feel the same about me . . . .” What do you say to him? This site will tell you. It's actually pretty simple. You thank him for being honest, and you tell him he's been lead astray and that he needs to go to church and read the bible again because he didn't get it the first time. If he still doesn't appear to get it, buy an annotated version, read that to him, and maybe try the church down the street. The key is actually making sure you read him the bible and bring him church more times than someone else has told him that we evolved and that gay marriage, abortion, and living with a woman out of wedlock are okay. /edited to add: looking more at this site... It suffers the same problems as the movie Religulous; it offers no appeal to the middle ground. Both claim to provide insight into the minds of those who think differently from the author, but all they do is misrepresent. One thing's for sure, it would be a waste of energy to feel threatened by either.
