***When a man disrespcts a child's life like that, he deserves to be stripped, hung, and shot.
I can't believe this shit.
it is not acceptable for anyone to act like this.
Assault on an officer is an "adult" crime. Perhaps he was simply treating her as an adult.

From the link....
Schene's attorney, Anne Bremner, released a statement Friday in response to the video's release. The statement said:
"We had argued strenuously that the video tape released to the media this morning not be released because it does not tell the whole story of the incident. As we argued to the judge, it will inflame public opinion and will severely impact the deputy's right to a fair trial. We will defend this misdemeanor case in court. No story can be sliced so thin that it does not have two sides. We hope that judgment will be reserved until all the facts of this case are given fair consideration in court."
That is an ASSAULT on the video.. and any professional police officer who treats a citizen that way needs to be doing serious jail time.... and removal from the police force.... PERIOD

Uhm..,Amazon,
do you believe everything you see on the internet and video?
You do realize that the images can be manipulated don't you?
If this man is an officer of the law I'd expect he should be given the benefit of the doubt.
Will you admit that there is a slight chance that the video may have been manipulated or how about that the video didn't capture the entire story?
Are either of those even remote possibilities?
Is the officer ,in your mind, innocent until found guilty by a jury of his peers or is he guilty because you saw a video?

I tend to belive video.. its right there... and I think when the jury sees it.. mr badass cop who got off on kicking the shit out of a 15 year old girl... because she may have "dissed" him... is going to be in need of a new career.. and I COMPLETELY and Wholeheartedly believe ANY officer who pulls that kind of shit... needs the same.
I also think..the girl has a 100% chance of winning the civil lawsuit that is coming.
The thinblue line blindness...is a very curable disease.

Ya know Amazon,
the other day I saw a Pepsi commercial where Fred Astaire was dancing with J-Lo.
Don't think it really happened though. I know that video can be manipulated.

Uh.. its video that the department shot... and evidenced by the slime ball lawyers position... she KNOWS its for real.
Sorry.. but just because a bully puts on a blue uniform.... does not absolve him from being a bully.
A LEO is supposed to be a professional.... with the duty to protect and to serve.. What I saw on that video...is not protecting or serving anyone but his inner demons.....he needs to go.
Face it his actions just won the girl the lawsuit lotery.. and those of us who pay the salaries of morons like him are tired of less than professional actions from our public servants.

Quoteare YOu for Real???? or what???

I'm simply defending the officers right to a fair trial.
Unless you believe that you have all of the evidence I would suggest that perhaps you should withold judgement until a jury decides whether or not he is guilty of any crime.
Certainly the video as presented is shocking . I do believe though that we should wait for a trial before we convict the man.

Do you mean the one at "Live leak.com"?
Yes they are a bastion of journalistic integrity aren't they?
Here's one thing I picked up on from that article that did seem to make sense to me ;"No story can be sliced so thin that it does not have two sides. We hope that judgment will be reserved until all the facts of this case are given fair consideration in court."

QuoteLook at her feet, she kicked a flip flop at him gently.
She kicked her shoes off at him because they tell you to remove your shoes. and she probably did it in that manner because of the way she was asked to do so. I'm sure he was a jerk about it.
Regardless... his behavior was disgusting and out of line.

Really? Is that why she kicked her shoes at him? And you know this how? Are you certain they were her #street shoes# and not her jail issued flip flops and that she hadn't already surrendered her civilian shoes?Regardless... his behavior was disgusting and out of line.Quote
You are sure,Lisa???
Lisa, You are "sure he was a jerk about it" ?
Why are you so "sure"?
And you are "sure " about this to? Could there possibly be circumstances of which you are unaware ?
