Aliens at the inaguration?

Recommended Posts

" Video of what some speculate is a UFO flying over President Obama's inauguration has circulated over the Internet, The Sun has reported.

The video shows an unknown object flying past the Washington Monument, as nearly two million people gathered to watch the inauguration."

Looks more like a fly landing on the lens to me.:S

Mike.

No way. It's the Real Thing.

Since the whole world was watching the inaguration in awe and reverence, why not the whole universe?

That looks like one of those things that have been dubbed as 'Rods'.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_rod

thare are various documentariies on them and they are found all over the world.

Only captured by video and still cameras, and are a phenomenon that nobody understands entirely.

In the documentary about them they were caught on camera by base jumpers jumping in that giant hole in the ground called 'Cave_of_Swallows'.

My friend did a base jumping expedition there and after the documentary, we watched his footage in slow motion and what do you know..., rods everywhere, not birds not bugs but things going faster than any known living thing and variable in size. from small to much larger than a human.

there is footage of them flying through tornados and all sorts of things,

Living organisms, computer glitches?

you decide, i don't believe they are computer glitches as still photographs have been taken in the same places with the same type of image but with Film, also the rods in the cave were taking the 'same lines' so to speak, as the swallows that inhibit the cave. Video glitches wouldn't be that organised.

I'm fucked if i know what they are, but i wouldn't worry about mars attaking though?

Yep, there's a whole hour-long TV show about this phenomenon.

There's a very simple explanation: The time of exposure of a camera shutter.

During the time it takes a shutter to trip, a bird or insect will fly in front of it, and the exposure captures two or three wing beats as it flies by. Thus, on the film, it looks like a long rod as the body is elongated, and the wing beats show up as two or three sets of wings spread out along the length of the rod.

They're not aliens. It's just time lapse photography.

It reminds me of the whacko ghost hunters who see "orbs" of energy on their night pictures, which simply come from the flash reflecting back on water spots on their camera lenses.
