Belgian_Draft 0 #26 January 19, 2009 You mean the same Al Gore who made a compilation of other people's work and got a Nobel Prize for it? I think we should feed him to the polar bears.HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit. masterrig 1 #27 January 19, 2009 No... No! Don't feed him to the polar bears! They'd just get sick and die! As for the Nobel Prize... so much for credibility! Al Gore must be the first 'con-artist' to recieve one! Chuck

They're turning into pizzlies, and pizzlies are a lot warmer than polar bears! In addition, pizzlies are a little darker in color, and thus absorb more solar radiation, warming the planet. Fortunately, this trend has been counteracted by the proliferation of McDonald's in northern Canada. People frequenting McDonald's instead of Taco Bell generate less methane, and thus reduce total anthropogenic greenhouse emissions.

In fact, polar bears' fur is neutral translucent; the fur acts like fiber optic threads to focus sunlight on the skin underneath, thereby keeping the bear warm. Polar bears can easily overheat, and frequently when they lay belly-down on the ice, it's to cool themselves down.
