Washington is a free state with shall issue concealed carry permits and no worthless laws which serve only to comfort bed-wetting city dwellers.

Of course you don't have to register your guns.

Read the links and you will have your answers.

Since we don't know what all you own, or your personal circumstances, we can't answer the questions for you.

BTW, did you do the AW registration on the AR-15 in CA? If you come back to CA, you might have trouble with it if they know you've left the state. I suspect the grandfathering is lost.

In fact, all imported weapons are supposed to go through the transfer BS, but again, not sure how it would apply to those who bought them in the state to start with. Only a concern if you decide to return, just be careful not to become a paperwork felon.

Hi R

RPG's, and full auto's probably aren't allowed:o

However Wa state does has a open carry law.

My understanding of the law is that Unless your a bad guy you can carry your handguns or long guns in public with a permit.

A CWP is not required since the weapons aren't concealed.

We've seen two guy's carrying in public, One at a Dog Park. He explained the law to us and that he was exercising his right to open carry per state law so that we wouldn't lose our rights to open carry and educate the public and law enforcement.

I wonder if texas has a similar law. Hint Hint

Krip is right, no class II firearms, such as full autos. Everything else, bring it on. Washington state was one of the first to legislate the "shall issue" concealed pistol permits back in 1960. I see that as pretty enlightened. B| Give me a holler when you get up here. We can head out to the range and kill some paper. ;)
