434 2 #27 January 5, 2009 First we have to change the way of thinking. Continius growth, bigger markeds, more people to fill in for demands of useless products, have to change. We just have to sit back and enjoy a new way of living that demands less, but still give back more equally for most of us! I know all this is not possible when we have huge differences i culture, way of thinking. In so many years we have still not learned anything, but continue to do the same things over and over, and I personally dont think that will change much in the future. We will be set back one day, and then everything will start over again until there is not possible to live on planet earth.

There would certainly be fewer wars over territory and resources. Which would allow us to spend more energy making more babies. When the world gets too crowded, God in his wisdom, gives us wars. -Archie Bunker

SpeedRacer 1 #32 January 5, 2009 You do that. Of course, that means your genes will be "Darwined Out" of the gene pool. Meanwhile people who are too dumb to give a fuck are popping out babies one after the other starting at age 12. Their genes will be perpetuated. One source says: the world can produce enough food to provide every person with more than 2 700 Calories per day a level which is normally sufficient to ensure that all have access to adequate food, provided distribution is not too unequal. http://www.fao.org/DOCREP/x0262e/x0262e05.htm Another source, this one, says the planet can support 33.1 billion people. http://fatknowledge.blogspot.com/2008/11/how-many-people-can-earth-support.html Tact is not my specialty..... If your statement was true, we did not see the growing numbers.
