Genocide is defined as the deliberate destruction of an entire race or nation. Nuking the Taliban would not fit the definition of Genocide. Nuking Hiroshima & Nagasaki was not genocide. But it sure yanked a knot in the ass of Imperial Japan, and would do the same with the Taliban. Tact is not my specialty..... Isolated packs of fanatics living in various areas in caves in the mountains are NOT an appropriate target for nuclear weapons. Not that I'm too worried, since I think anyone of any position of power in the military would not be so hopelessly ignorant of strategy to ever even consider such a policy. I Highly doubt that dropping a nuke on them would do any good. The taliban would just look at all the dead as martyrs and continue the fight in the same way hamas is using the palistinians.
