StreetScooby 5 #1 December 19, 2008 Through some post in this forum, recently I have ended up watching a fair amount of Pat Condell's YouTube videos. He's really starting to resonate with me. dmkellett 0 #3 December 22, 2008 it was my post. your welcome. he is a bit harsh, but pretty on the ball eh? I think it's time we did less tip-toe-ing around silly beliefs and took his approach. however, for a more philosophical approach, try SAM HARRIS " Letter to a CHristian NAtion " Sam is awesome, and simply cannot be argued with in my view. StreetScooby 5 #4 December 24, 2008 Just for the record, I am _NOT_ an atheist. I just don't view God as a noun. I see it much more as a verb. I tried to explain myself with a series of posts culminating in the one below. If you have time or interest, I'd love to hear some feedback. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2409368;search_string=God%20and%20the%201st%20Law;#2409368We are all engines of karma

What you're discounting is the non-trivial amount of personal experience in my explanation that you may not have had. Not that there's anything wrong with that...We are all engines of karma
