dmkellett 0 #1 December 16, 2008 I only ever read the WS and base forums. but the other day i clicked on this one for a laugh, and was suprised at just how much arguments are still going on between the god botherers and the Atheists . Being a bit of a skeptic myself, I just want to point out this guy for any fellow jumpers who believe in reason, logic, the scientific method, a mountain of evidence and common sense.. he might be a limey, but he is my hero Atheist sisters and brothers, you may well wet yourself laughing..... rehmwa 2 #4 December 16, 2008 similar question on the other thread. are we talking "anti-christian" taliban (fanatical anti-christians) or anti "christian taliban" (against the real or perceived fringe segment of fanatical christians bent on moving to a theocracy) because, these are pretty different things - one the members are fanatics, the other the members are against fanatics ... dmkellett 0 #5 December 16, 2008 I had never heard the phrase anti christian taliban before I read this forum, it seems to be what the religious are calling skeptics nowadays... So I said it as a piss take. I am not anti christian, I am anti - religion in all its forms as it simply seems to cause suffering and stupidity in humans, and is used as a form of control over women and other minority groups. It is about 200 years after we should have been clever enough to leave superstition behind, its becoming a real drag now...... but isn't Pat funny?? Now I know you know what you said...but do you realize that you are now a member of those that are continuing the arguments "between the God botherers and the Atheists." My question to you is....Are you suprised at yourself? I would also argue that your view on religion is not religion at all, but rather the human perversion of it. If you really want to be suprised, I would recommend starting a thread called "Is Athesim a religion or not" and marvel over the answers you recieve.Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
