Some were very easy, some I had to really think about, but....

32 out of 33, and I'd quibble about the one I missed. So far skydivers seem to be outscoring the average citizen by a wide margin, although the sample is small and admittedly self-reported. What is really scary is the truly abysmal performance of elected politicians (44% correct, shown in the link with the test).

I missed 6, receiving an 81.82%.

What I noticed was that all my incorrect answers had to do with history.[:/] Economics, Gov't function, The Constitution all were my strong areas.

Time to brush up on history.

Same here. 100%. The tricky ones were handled by using test-taking skills to augment admittedly sketchy knowledge of the subject. :P if you read the choices very carefully, you would see that some of them made no sense at all (contradictory, impossible, circular, etc)

though i had to really dredge the depths of my brain to recall the Lincoln-Douglas debates!

I missed 6 for the 81.8%.

Terrifying to think that even the folk setting the test could get 6 of the answers wrong!:P

An unfair question, in that I don't think they actually offered the correct answer.

Wasn't the debate about whether new states would (or could) be slave-owning or emancipated, and in what proportion?

Yes, you are right. And so is the correct answer.
