Andrewwhyte 1 #3 December 5, 2008 The correct term is prorogation. It is a legitimate tool, although not usually used for this purpose. The Prime Minister has gotten used to a gutless, denuded opposition but he pushed them too far so they are all banding together to defeat him. The problem with the prorogation is that he has declared war against all the other parties and he will not be able to get his budget through in January without at least one of them.
