There's also a Skeptic's Annotated Quran and Skeptic's Annotated Book of Mormon. I don't see any one them as 'making fun' of any of the religious texts, e.g., one of the designated annotations is "good stuff." Instead they're bringing forth provocative analyses by self-identified skeptics, i.e., it's in the title.

Believe it or not I read and listen to the bible on an almost daily basis, it fascinates me. I mostlty listen to secular audio lectures (The teaching company mostly) on the NT.
I work as a nurse in a long term care facility for children who have suffered some of the most terrible accidents you can imagine. Every year at this time we have church groups with the best of intentions come in to sing carols and remind the children to thank god for all they have and put thier faith in god, who can work miracles for them, It makes me sick, No miracles happen where I work, just sick and dying children on a daily basis. You speak of medical miracles, the day I see a severed limb grow back from prayer is the day I mite become a believer, but we both know that will never happen.
If you believe that god is:
1, All powerful
2, Merciful and kind
Then how can you explain suffering?

Good question! One I have thought about myself many times. And it appears that suffering is here to stay, for the foreseeable future anyway. Looking back at my own life, it was during the times of the most intense suffering that my awareness and relationship with God dramatically increased. Knowing what I know now, I would gladly relive those periods and I am thankful for them. I believe all things work together for good when you love and trust in God. If God is not a part of your life then all you can hope to gain from suffering is more agony and confusion.

What is the source of the gate losses? Aren't they just MOSFETS? 10MHz seems pretty low frequency to be getting substantial gate losses.

If you divorce yourself from the unproven outcomes of religion. The heavenly rewards for belief or the eternal

damnation for nonbelief.Because I think the average person thinks "well i don't know if I really believe in god, but

in case there is one I better go through the motions at least and follow the rules, cuz eternal damnation sounds

Just use logic, the way science demands of itself. Constantly questioning and testing what we think we know, to

look for different or better understandings of the reality we experience around us. There is zero proof of

Maybe so. On a strictly objective perspective, the only other game in town is so depressing and pointless, that all I can ask is, who in their right mind would want to live like that?
