They probably think that guns are a hot button issue. Judging by your response I'd say they're right.

It sure is making gun sales spike.... for all of those afraid of Obama Democrats resuming their gun-ban agenda.

Fixed that for you.

Replying TO you john, not AT you.

Does anyone know the exact laws in DC and the metro areas? Maybe they want to know that everyone will be within compliance if/when they get a cabinet position.

I am generally about as pro-gun as one can be and i do not see this question being anything out of the ordinary for a presidential cabinet position.

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Handgun ownership is banned in the district. So if they go live there to work for Obamer, then they'll have to leave their guns behind.

And Obamer has stated that he supports the D.C. handgun ban.

Therefore, he also supports disarming his employees who come to live in the district to work for him.

So, getting back to the questionnaire - the purpose may be so that Obamer can warn them to leave their guns behind when they come to work for him. "No guns allowed!"

He wouldn't want to have a news story about how he supports the D.C. gun ban, yet some of his cabinet appointees violate that ban by daring to own a gun.

And of course, that would be really embarrassing since he claims to be in support of the 2nd Amendment. Better to head it off so it doesn't happen, so that his true feelings and hypocrisy about guns won't be revealed.

It also asks about housekeepers. I guess they'll have to leave their housekeepers behind!

It also asks about taxes. I guess they'll have to leave their taxes behind!

It also asks about husbands/wives. I guess they'll have to leave them behind!

It also asks about diaries. I guess they'll have to leave their diaries behind!

(Where do you get this stuff? What right winger website is that dumb?)

You should talk to your doctor about that ODS before it gets out of hand.

I thought the SCOTUS just shot down that law. :S
I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

They did. It will be interesting to see what the BHO administration will do. Bring back the "evil black rifle" ban, or increase taxes on guns and ammo, I think will be a huge mistake for his party. I thought they learned that lesson back in the 90s.
The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.
