Imagine for a moment how that would have gone down if the party roles had been reversed. This is pretty magnanimous if it comes to pass. A little too so in my opinion since it shows the world we are willing to put up with some torture as long as we're the ones doing it.

Perhaps in his recent intelligence briefings he's realized that we're not actually torturing anyone. I don't know if that's true or not, but he said he'll ensure there is no torture committed by the the US. Then, after these initial briefings, has said no charges will be brought up.

Similar to the we wont go after Bush for war crimes, we will not close gitmo, we will not pull out of Iraq, we will not change tax laws.

The Obama supporters had no idea what they were voting for. They are not going to get what they "hoped" for. As more of this come out, the dissapointment will grow and fester. What the media has created it can destroy.

Do I know any of the above will come to pass? Not yet but, the trial ballons are already being launched.
